A company created in 1819, located in the Aube county (France). DD, a heritage trademark dedicated to fashion and quality, one of the oldest textile names in France.

A story that all began in 1819 when Jean-Baptiste DORÉ suggested to his farmer-hosier neighbours that they centralise the sale of their products on the market in Troyes, then their purchases of thread.
Laurent DORÉ, his cousin and successor then created the family workshops in the surrounding towns
The two DORÉ branches were united through a marriage and the DD DORÉ DORÉ trademark was born in 1862.
In 1867, DD became known at the Universal Exposition. Since then, it has never stopped advertising to transmit, from generation to generation, this prestigious, international image. The variety of DD logos and advertisements over the past 2 centuries are proof of this. The stylistic expertise and constant innovation make DD a decidedly modern trademark. |

DORE DORE has a sock production unit in FONTAINE LES GRES and a tights production unit in TROYES, in the Aube county, 150 km from PARIS.
In 2000, the company heavily invested in its industrial and logistics tool to meet current productivity criteria while maintaining its standards of quality.
The new industrial organisation is designed to meet the demanding quality requirements of DORÉ DORÉ products : these quality controls are conducted at every step in the logistic chain, from buying raw materials to manufacturing and delivering finished products.
A fully computerised logistics platform dispatches products worldwide in just 48 hours. The innovation policy at DORÉ DORÉ is present from the creation of new items to their sale: new manufacturing processes, new materials and new concepts all contribute to the renewal of the collections with each season. |
