However, I shared the frustration of thousands of women who wanted pantyhose without feet. Department stores and boutiques across the country had the same response, “No, we don’t have anything like that, but what a great idea! If you find them, let us know”.
Representatives of department stores even said their clients had been cutting off the feet of their hose and tying rubber bands around them in a homemade attempt to create footless pantyhose. Frustration turned into inspiration and Spanx was born. |
